Marcia Goodman,  Book Keeper


Marcia is our Book Keeper.

Marcia’s life is full of many blessings including her husband (of 38 years) and their 1 ½ year old English Springer Spaniel, Tucker. They have three wonderful children and their spouses, plus three grand-dogs and two grand-kitties. They have also recently been blessed with a beautiful granddaughter. 

Marcia’s passions are spending time with her family and traveling. She also considers working at OVAH another one of her blessings.


 

 

Evan Hayden,  Veterinary Technician

Evan is one of our Veterinary Technicians here, and a new addition to the team. 

Evan moved to the Ocean View area in April 2009 from Newark. He was employed as a Veterinary Technician for 2 years at Banfield Pet Hospital. Before that he worked at a pet store where he was in charge of the aquatics and reptile department.


Evan has cared for numerous personal pets including 2 dogs, a cat, 4 birds, a lizard, and 5 fish tanks. He only has one fish tank right now … for now. We are also very proud of Evan's intense creativity, drawing prowess and wonderful sense of humor.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Kristin Robert, Veterinary Technician

 

Kristin has been with our team since March 2010. 

 

Originally from Connecticut, Kristin attended school in Louisiana before she moved to Virginia and is now here with us.  She graduated from University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a degree in Animal Science.  She has worked with veterinarian hospitals in each state that she has lived in. 

 

Kristin currently has 3 cats - all adopted from rescues.  She loves to read and also enjoys swimming and kayaking. 

 

 

 

Gabrielle McLaughlin,  Veterinary Technician Assistant

Gabrielle has been with OVAH since October 2008. She is one of our Veterinary Assistants. 
She loves her job – simply because she loves animals! In her spare time she likes to horseback ride, go shopping (who doesn’t?), play with her pets, and spend time with her boyfriend. 

Gabrielle attends Delaware Tech, working towards her Veterinary Technician degree.



 

 

Kathy Schoonfield,  Receptionist

Kathy is a great asset to our team. Kathy is one of our Receptionists, and is usually the first face you see when you come here. She brings energy, compassion, knowledge & enthusiasm to our reception desk.

Kathy just relocated here from South Jersey with her 3 kids, Amanda, Melissa, and John, and 1 dog named Whitey. Feeling the OVAH influence, she is up to 2 dogs, Jasper the newest addition, 2 dwarf hamsters, and a fish tank. 


Prior to teaming up with OVAH Kathy worked as a stay-at-home Mom and was a Medical Sales Rep.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rebecca Knapp,  Clinic Development
Rebecca is our assistant to everyone! She primarily shares her responsibilities between receptionist and clinic development. Rebecca is a recent addition, joining OVAH in June 2009. She is a native to Connecticut, and just moved to Delaware in January 2008. 

Rebecca graduated from Stonehill College in Easton, MA in 2003 with a BA and minor in CIS and Marketing. 


Rebecca lives in Bethany Beach with her fiance and three furry kids. The kids consist of one Beagle named Finley and two cats named Moe & Joe. The animals ARE their lives! In her spare time Rebecca is either spending time with her animals, going to the beach (surf fishing of course – how else can you bring your dog?), or running (with and without Finley). There seems to be a pattern in her activities!
