Off season: Dogs ARE allowed on any of the beaches, leashed and cleaned up after. They must be licensed and have current vaccinations. 
Honor all park signs that prohibit the entry of pets into specific areas. Picnic areas, nature trails, bird nesting areas, park buildings, cabins, and yurts are closed to dogs year-round.

Year-round: Dogs ARE allowed on beach year-round, but NEED a special license and with certain hour restrictions during the summer season. License is obtained from Town of Dewey Beach during regular business hours at 105 Rodney Ave, Dewey Beach DE. It is $15 per dog and good for the lifetime of that dog. You do not have to be a Dewey Beach resident.  Dogs are allowed to be off-leash year-round, but need to be under owners control at all times and cleaned up after.
May 15th – September 15th: Dogs are only allowed before 9:30am and after 5:30pm.
